City Library

The City Library on Grand Parade houses both public services and administration offices. The library has been serving the public from this location since 1930.

The City Library on the Grand Parade is home to Cork City Libraries’ largest collections of books, periodicals, CDs, DVDs and other materials for adults and children. The City Library delivers a library service through five public-service departments: Adult Lending; Children's and Teens' Library; Reference; Local Studies; and the Rory Gallagher Music Library.

The City Library also provides management, administrative and bibliographic services for Cork City Libraries.
