Live at the Library with Jack Lyons

Jack Lyons or 'Irish Jack' as he came to be known, is a postman from Cork with an extraordinary tale to tell. Jack grew up with the mod movement and The Who in London in the 60s.  Here he talks with Sheena Crowley about his life.


Closed for Staff Training

We would like to advise patrons that all branches of Cork City Libraries will open at the later time of 2.00 pm on Wednesday 12 December, to facilitate staff training. 


Christmas Opening Hours

All branches of Cork City Libraries will close on Saturday 22 December at 5.30 pm for the Christmas holidays.  The following branches and departments will have limited opening hours over the Christmas period
