Fáilte | Welcome
At Cork City Libraries we are preparing our Library Development Plan, 2025 - 2029. This is an important task that will inform how how your libraries will evolve to meet your needs.
Cork City Council is encouraging the public to voice their opinion on the future of your libraries and provide feedback on how services can best suit your needs.
By completing this public survey you will have your say on the future of libraries in Cork City.
Please click here to complete this survey.
It should take approximately 7 minutes to complete and will close on September 30, 2024.
Cork City Libraries are delighted to announce that our popular My Open Library Service is now available in Bishopstown Library.
Library patrons are now able to register in person at Bishopstown Library to take part in an induction if interested in becoming a My Open Library Patron!
My Open Library is a service where public libraries offer extended open hours, using a mix of staffed and unstaffed self-service hours.
During unstaffed hours, members who are registered My Open Library members can access the library from 8.00 am to 10.00 pm every day, including weekends.
The My Open LibraryService is also available in Blackpool Library, Douglas Library and Glanmire Library.
