Children's Summer Events 2016

The start of the school Summer holidays marks the start of the programme of events for children in Mayfield Library.

On Thursday 7 July at 2.30pm Arran Towers presents ‘Trunk of Tricks’, a feast of Indian traditional string puppetry, magic, storytelling and juggling. Suitable for families and children of all ages.

On Thursday 14 July at 2.30pm there will be an entertaining and energetic storytelling session with Paddy O’Brien.

On Wednesday 27 July at 2.30pm you can have a go at making a paper puppet of your favourite fantasy character with Fiona Boniwell, this is suitable for boys and girls aged 8-12. All materials provided. Spaces are limited, booking is essential.

On Wednesday 10 August at 11.30am we will have Storytelling for Tots.
All events are free of charge.

We will also be running our Summer Reading Challenge over the holiday and there are lots of prizes to be won.
