Visits and Introducing the Library

We offer timeslots for fortnightly group / class visits. We also cater for once off visits.

Teachers and Group Leaders - bring groups to the library to borrow books, or to avail of our Open Library introduction sessions. These sessions consists of teaching students how to find books in the library, how to use the library catalogue, tips on how to research your projects and tips on how to use the Internet more effectively to find what you want.

Childcare Collection

Hollyhill Library is delighted to be affiliated with Reference Library Grand Parade in providing material for students of childcare and child related courses. The collection consists of books and reports of various aspects of childcare, child health, and parenting. Call us for further details at 021 4924928.

Baffled by the new self-service or e-services at your library? Hollyhill library will host a number of Open Library sessions during February. Come along and learn how to borrow and return your books on our new kiosks, practice using our photocopying and printing facilities or learn how to download our library app, an ebook or emagazine. Staff will also provide information on the various online resources available when researching a local history project or your family tree.
