Access and Joining

Membership is free for children and young people under 18 years. Please be advised that:

  • Parents are responsible for their child’s safety and behaviour at all times in the Library
  • Children aged 7 and under must be accompanied by an adult in the Library
  • Children and teens aged 8 and over must bring their library card, or be accompanied by a parent or guardian to enter the Library
  • A parent or guardian must be present when registering and renewing  memberships for children and teens under 18 in the Library
  • Children using our public toilets must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
